Moutai America Shipping, Fulfillment & Returns Policy

At Moutai America, we are committed to providing an exceptional purchasing experience while ensuring full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local alcohol beverage laws. All orders are fulfilled by licensed alcohol retailers and shipped through licensed carriers that provide Adult Signature Required service.

Alcohol Sales Policy

All alcoholic beverage sales are final.

Due to state and federal alcohol regulations, licensed retailers generally cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages except where required by law or when an item is damaged, defective, or shipped in error.

By placing an order, you certify that:

  • You are at least 21 years of age.

  • The recipient is at least 21 years of age.

  • A person age 21 or older with valid government-issued identification will be available to sign for the delivery.

Moutai America reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order that cannot be fulfilled in accordance with applicable alcohol beverage laws.

Shipping Availability

We currently ship to 46 U.S. states where legally permitted.

At this time, we cannot ship to:

  • Alaska

  • Hawaii

  • South Dakota

  • Utah

  • Michigan

  • Mississippi

  • Arkansas

Additional shipping restrictions may apply based on changing state laws.

We do not ship to:

  • P.O. Boxes

  • APO/FPO Military Addresses

  • International destinations (unless otherwise specified)

Adult Signature Requirement

Federal and state law require that all alcohol shipments be signed for by an adult who is at least 21 years of age.

The recipient must present a valid government-issued photo ID upon delivery.

Packages cannot be left unattended, delivered without a signature, or redirected to unauthorized locations.

We strongly recommend shipping to a business address or another location where someone 21 years or older is available during normal delivery hours.

Order Processing

Most orders are processed within 1–2 business days.

Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and holidays.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email containing tracking information.

Delivery times generally range from 1–10 business days, depending on destination and carrier service.

Please note that carrier transit times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Shipping Rates

Standard shipping is $19.99 per package.

Orders shipping to multiple addresses must be placed separately.

From time to time, Moutai America may offer promotional shipping discounts or free shipping offers on qualifying purchases.

Expedited Shipping

Expedited shipping may be available for select destinations.

Failed Delivery Attempts

If an adult age 21 or older is unavailable to sign for the shipment, the carrier will typically attempt delivery up to three (3) times.

If delivery cannot be completed:

  • The shipment may be returned to the licensed retailer.

  • Additional shipping and handling charges may apply for reshipment.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Orders returned because no eligible recipient was available, an incorrect address was provided, or delivery was refused are not eligible for a full refund.

Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

Please verify:

  • Recipient name

  • Shipping address

  • ZIP code

  • Phone number

Moutai America is not responsible for delays, additional shipping charges, lost shipments, or returned packages resulting from incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided at checkout.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Our fulfillment team begins processing orders quickly.

Order modifications or cancellations must be requested within 3 hours of placing the order.

Once an order has entered fulfillment or has shipped, it cannot be modified or cancelled.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your shipment immediately upon delivery.

If your order arrives:

  • Damaged

  • Defective

  • Missing items

  • Incorrect

please notify us within 7 days of delivery.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please include:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the package

  • Photos of the shipping label

  • Photos of the damaged product(s)

Upon review, we may provide one of the following:

  • Replacement product (subject to availability)

  • Store credit

  • Refund to the original payment method

Returns

Because alcoholic beverages are regulated products, we cannot accept returns simply because a customer changes their mind.

Returns are accepted only for:

  • Products damaged during transit

  • Defective merchandise

  • Incorrect items shipped

  • Orders required by applicable law

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Refund Policy

If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method.

Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days after approval.

Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the error was caused by Moutai America or the licensed fulfillment retailer.

Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

In rare cases, inventory discrepancies may occur after an order has been placed.

If an item becomes unavailable before shipment, we may:

  • Cancel the affected item

  • Substitute only with your approval (where permitted)

  • Issue a full refund for unavailable merchandise

Weather & Carrier Delays

Alcohol shipments may occasionally be delayed due to:

  • Severe weather

  • Carrier operational issues

  • Wildfires

  • Natural disasters

  • State shipping restrictions

Moutai America is not responsible for delays once packages have been accepted by the carrier.

Compliance

By purchasing from Moutai America, you agree that:

  • Title to alcoholic beverages passes to the purchaser at the licensed retailer's shipping location where permitted by law.

  • You are purchasing alcohol for personal consumption and not for unlawful resale.

  • You are responsible for complying with all local laws governing the receipt and possession of alcoholic beverages.
